As an Insurance Agency Owner or any Business Owner you must carry and deal with alot of emotions. How you deal with those emotions can have a radical impact on your team and your close loved ones!
As you take a step away from your business on this Friday evening I ask you to reflect on this past week…how many times you put on a smiling face when internally you wanted to scream! How many times you screamed and probably should have laughed or smiled. And how many times in your emotional experience did you stop and see how many eyes were on you in that moment.
I challenge all of you (including myself) to recognize that emotions are REAL, both positive and negative and we cannot hide from them. We have to rather look within and answer the question to what emotions can do for us. Can they be FUEL to excel you or Can they be POISON slowing killing you?
I assure you that they are doing one of these two things every time. They are either fueling your future learning and experience or they are holding you captive and stuck not expanding but rather constricting you.
THOUGHTS TO PONDER TODAY: What emotions did you stuff this week around your Business? Did you allow yourself the time to feel joy? Did you allow yourself the time to feel pain, struggle? If so, GREAT from there what did you learn for the next experience. If not, LET it out, allow yourself to feel and learn from those emotions. Your Insurance Agency is more than just selling Insurance and caring for customers….it is about caring for yourself, feeling emotion and using that experience to enhance your team and your Agency!
