I hope that my headline today caught your attention because that was the entire purpose! For many of you reading this message you know that I am passionate about the Insurance industry and have spent almost 20 years in it’s practice and yet I still get a pit in my stomach every time that I recognize the amount of malpractice that occurs in our space and specifically in Insurance.
👉If a doctor saw on his/her tests that you had cancer in your body and did nothing to advise you and inform you that is called malpractice.
Yet, in life there are very few guarantees.
💥The #1 GUARANTEE is we are all going to DIE!💥
👉Does that make you uncomfortable?
👉Do you want to stop reading now?
The facts are the facts and this right here is an inevitable guarantee that we all face. And yet so often I see in our industry, countless LICENSED individuals that hold a Life Insurance license that fail to discuss this topic with every person they come in contact with!
I call that malpractice; knowing the inevitable fact that we will all DIE and that although we cannot stop the PAIN of death and loss of loved ones that there is a way to prepare and protect your family and legacy for the inevitable.
😠I get angry, 😤frustrated and 😢saddened when I see posts for GoFundMe pages and often the same people that contribute to those GoFundMe pages are the same people that had a product and solution that could have been in place…and they are LICENSED to discuss and solicit this product!
🔥Yes! I am speaking today to my industry but just as importantly I am talking to all PEOPLE. 🤼
If you don’t return home today…as thousands of people won’t…what is your spouse, children, employees etc. going to do to replace you in their life?
It is often said that we will always be remembered when we leave this world…how do you want to be remembered? I know for me I want to be remembered as a father, husband and employer that loved his people when he was alive and planned to take care of them far after he was gone!
💥💥Now back to my Insurance industry people, STOP COMMITTING MALPRACTICE! Discuss this with every person you come across..it is your moral and ethical responsibility! You insure people’s cars, homes, pets and hell even our cell phones have insurance AND not even one of those items is GUARANTEED TO EVER experience a loss. And yet the one ultimate guarantee…that of DEATH you fail to make your #1 priority in every conversation! It is like knowing your client has cancer as a doctor and you tell them they are healthy and they have nothing to worry about!
❓Who can you talk to NOW about this?
❓How will you feel when you have to face a widow and tell her/him “I am sorry I never brought up this policy to him/her?”
❓Is fear and being uncomfortable about speaking about death causing you to be weak and unprofessional?
If you are stuck and need some motivation, some tips, some scripts or just someone who can help. REACH OUT!
And if you are someone who knows that you are not protected for the inevitable…drop me a comment I can get the right resources in your hands!!
