Happy Friday and today I wanted to share a message about the “MOST IMPORTANT PRODUCT” of Insurance…..Life Insurance!

Now I know that not everyone reading this message sells Life Insurance Products but maybe after reading this you will reconsider. In my 17+ years of working in the Insurance Industry I have seen countless numbers of Insurance Agents break their backs and their insanity selling Auto, Home, Commercial and Umbrella Insurance with the hope that their clients never experience a claim. Yet, most Insurance Agents unless Life insurance is their primary and only product, fail to sell Life Insurance when it is the “ONLY INSURANCE PRODUCT GUARANTEED TO HAVE A CLAIM IF THE POLICY IS IN FORCE.” This is quite simply reality, WE ARE ALL DOING TO DIE!!! A bit morbid but it is TRUTH and REALITY and so I leave this discussion around life insurance, baffled and confused all the time. Why do you as an Insurance Agent work so hard on products you hope will never have a claim but FAIL to offer the one product GUARANTEED to have a claim if the product is in force!

I need you all to let this sink in and really ponder the truth and reality of my statements above. I assure you it is much easier to bring up the conversation of Life Insurance then it is to have a conversation with a widow or fatherless child and tell them, “No, I did not discuss Life Insurance with your father, mother or spouse!!

THOUGHTS TO PONDER TODAY: If you believe Life Insurance is as important as I believe it to be what can you do to make it a priority? A simple tool I share with the Agents I coach is this: “Just Ask” keep a sheet of paper next to each phone in your office, write a space for five (5) names and five (5) results and make it priority that each of those sheets are complete every day. Ask five people this simple question everyday and the dynamics of your Agency around Life Insurance will skyrocket. Who has your Life Insurance?
