THE MOMENT OF TRUTH

In life, career, relationships it is easy to stay among the masses.  When you are walking your path in life and you are comparing yourself to others in this way:  I am a success in my career, I am in the top 25%, my marriage is good we have been together for 20 years and I see other married couples much worse than us, I am healthy and in shape I have maintained the same weight for 5 years and I go to the gym a few times a week.

In “The Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy he explains this phenomenon in this way.  “When you’ve prepared, practiced, studied, and consistently put in the required effort, sooner or later you’ll be presented with your own moment of truth.”

And Lance Armstrong explained in an interview even further what this means.  “It wasn’t difficult, painful, or challenging when I was just running with the herd, just keeping up, but not really getting ahead.  It’s not getting to the wall that counts; it’s what you do after you hit it.

THOUGHTS TO PONDER TODAY:

Are you doing the work, studying, practicing and consistently putting in the effort specifically in your Insurance Agency?  And if you are truly honest about this and knowing that you will hit the inevitable “WALL”, your MOMENT OF TRUTH can you break through or will you be stopped?  Some of you may have already hit this wall before and KNOCKED IT DOWN but far too many of us have hit that WALL and determined that was our TOP LEVEL.  I challenge you today that it is not your TOP LEVEL, BUT RATHER THE STARTING POINT FOR YOUR NEXT LEVEL OF SUCCESS.  FACE YOUR WALL AND CREATE YOUR MOMENT OF TRUTH!!!
