Are you currently dealing with the balance between Production and Vacation during these Summer months? I think about that today as I am finishing a 5 day vacation with my family. It will be back to the office and the business tomorrow and I feel differently this time than I have in times past.
I have found that many people are sad, upset, even depressed when their vacation ends and they must go back to work. WHY? It should not feel that way if your vacation is the REWARD for your efforts to push hard, achieve higher levels and to expand to new heights. Then and only then your vacation becomes a RECHARGE TO THE BATTERIES OF YOUR LIFE.
The purpose of life is continual expansion and growth. The challenge to push yourself to limits you never knew you could achieve and exert levels of inner energy you did not know existed. Growth and expansion take immense levels of energy and vacation is to me two things:
- A chance to unplug temporarily from the high levels of production and exertion
- A chance to plug in to Source power to recharge your soul, mind, and body for the next level of expansion and exertion ahead
THOUGHTS TO PONDER: Where are you at when your vacation ends? Are you the person that dreads the day back to work and is sad, upset and/or depressed? Or are you the person grateful for the recharge and the energy, life and family balance you were able to derive that will push you to the next level of higher achievement? Vacation is earned by the efforts you expend in your Work and/or School, it is not a requirement of life but rather your reward for the efforts you put forth in expanding yourself?
