Saturdays, A Day To Close Your Office….OR IS IT??

Happy Saturday…weekend…a break from work OR is it?  You have probably become accustom to taking off from work on Saturday and Sunday and working your Insurance Agency/Business Monday-Friday.

I get it, I am not much different than most of you that are reading this message today.  Yet, as a follow-up to my conversation yesterday “Think Like Your Customer..Not Like Yourself”, I would ask when is the last time you made yourself available for your clients/prospects on a Saturday?

As I think about my day today, it is all about getting items done that I could not complete during the week.  Items like a Costco run, picking up Sports equipment for my son, running my daughter to volunteer, trying to get in my fitness, basically catching up on necessary items that I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO DO THROUGHOUT MY WEEK.  Do you think it is possible that your clients/prospects are similar to you, TOO BUSY DURING THE WEEKDAYS TO GET EVERYTHING DONE?  What if you could be a solution by offering them the ability to get their Insurance needs met on a Saturday when they are playing catch up on the tasks they had no time to complete during the weekday?

THOUGHTS TO PONDER TODAY: Do you want to be a unique, difference maker in your Industry?  If you do then you must act different and BE DIFFERENT.  How many other Insurance Agencies are open today?  My guess is that very few are, and if you marketed it correctly the Saturdays you are open, your Agency could be a differentiator in the marketplace.  Remember you need to think about how you are solving problems for your customer AND NOT ABOUT YOURSELF. Opening your Agency on a typical day most Agencies are closed solves the problem of TIME for your clients/prospects and future team members.  OPEN UP, WELCOME THEM IN AND PROMOTE IT AS “OUR DAY TO GIVE TIME BACK TO OUR CUSTOMERS”
