“YOUR 2019 AGENCY STARTS NOW…Are You Ready?”

If you remember these posts and/or you just reviewed them, you will gain that 2019 is upon us all.  Are you ready and clear about WHAT YOU WANT for your Agency?  Do you know CLEARLY where you currently sit in your Agency?  And if you are clear about where you are, what do you want for next  year, 2019?  Dream, visualize, imagine, set targets and paint the picture of your future…because that FUTURE IS NOW!

One of the greatest quotes I ever have heard is, “Failing to Plan, Is Planning To Fail.”  Never is this more prevalent than in our Industry, INSURANCE.  Insurance Agents don’t have a plan or vision for their Agency, no measure of what makes them successful or not, we tend to just keep selling Insurance without direction and/or purpose.  And before we know it 30 years of our careers have passed with no clear indication”THAT WE HAVE ARRIVED”.

Today, if you have gotten clear about WHERE YOU ARE, and taken that clarity and asked, WHERE DO I WANT TO GO (TARGETS FOR NEXT 12 MONTHS).  The next component is building a plan to arrive there.  The steps to that plan are SIMPLE BUT NOT EASY:

  • What is the Vision of Your Agency
  • What is the Mission of Your Agency
  • What is Your Agency Value Proposition
  • What is Your Unique Selling Proposition
  • What is Your Budget
  • What is Your Marketing Plan
  • What is Your Staffing Plan
  • And How Are You Measuring Your Results

You need to be able to start answering these questions….MANY OF YOU KNOW THE VALUE OF THESE QUESTIONS BUT WON’T TAKE THE TIME TO TRULY ANSWER THEM.  They are the steps to ELEVATE your Agency to levels it has never seen.

THOUGHTS TO PONDER TODAY:  Do you have a plan?  Are you an Agency Owner or simply an Insurance Agent?  Do you know the difference?  If you could find the help to develop a plan for your Agency, what would it be worth to you?  Are you ready for a change or do you want to be in the same position next November as you are right now?  If you get clear about WHERE YOU ARE, clear about WHERE YOU WANT TO GO, the final step IS CREATING A PLAN TO GET THERE!  Make 2019 the year you ELEVATE your Agency (or yourself within an Agency)…..STAY TUNED IF THIS YOU!
